President arrives in Tehran to attend anti-terrorism conference
President Asif Ali Zardari arrived on a two-day official visit here Friday to attend an anti-terrorism conference and meet the Iranian leadership. The President was received by Interior Minister Eng. Mustafa Muhammad Najjar at the Mehrabad Airport. Pakistan’s ambassador to Iran, senior government and embassy officials were also present. President Zardari will attend the global summit on combating terror on Saturday. He will also attend a tri-lateral meeting with the leaders of Iran and Afghanistan besides interacting with his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmedinejad and the Supreme leader.
