SC directs govt to appoint NAB chairman
The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has ordered the federal government to appoint chairman and prosecutor general for NAB in one-month time, report said. The court issued the directive in its decision on a petition challenging the appointment of NAB Deputy Chairman Javed Kazi as NAB’s acting head. A full bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal heard the case registered by Aljihad Trust against the appointment of Deputy Chairman Javed Zia Qazi.
