PM starts consultation process with allied parties, different political leaders for formation of new cabinet

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has started consultation process with ruling alliance and different political leaders including Mian Nawaz Sharif in connection with formation of new cabinet.

Under the consensus decision only one minister will be taken from allied parties.

Talking to Online Saturday, PPP information secretary Fouzia Wahab told prime minister had made contacts with JUI-F and PML-N. “We want both the parties join the cabinet to further strengthen the democracy”, she stated.

Formation of new cabinet was an important phase and Prime Minister was engaged in consultation with all political parties, she said adding new cabinet would be framed as soon as the consultation process was completed.

Regarding the publication of false report about the marriage of president Asif Ali Zardari by a national daily and issuance of legal notice by Mark Siegal, she said that the media should make verification about any report before its publication so that such matters could not surface up later.

The lady about whom the report of her marriage with the President Asif Ali Zardari had been published had said in plain term that she had not met president Asif Ali Zardari so far and this news item was false and baseless, she said.

If such reports aimed at defaming president will be spread then only one way was left with us that we should adopt legal course, she held.
